Soldier Ridge Trailhead
One mile north of Covelo on Highway 162, turn right on to 162 East. Travel approximately nine miles to the Eel River bridge. After you cross over the bridge, turn left onto M1/Indian Dick road and travel approximately 33 miles to road junction 25N15 Hayne's Delight/Soldier Ridge. Turn right and continue on this road for 3 miles to the trailhead. This trailhead provides access to Johnson's Headquarters, Minnie Lake, Solomon Peak, and French Cove.
