HypArt 'HypArt' stands for Hyper-Art and is a artistical equivalent to 'Hyper-Text'. The thought is that a single picture is created by several people. Therefore the image is being divided into squares and each artist contributes one of them.Since it is the aim to get a single picture as a result, the parts should match their neighbours. So it is only possible to add a piece when there is already a completed part to put a new one next to it. You'll find more information about how to contribute etc. in the Homepage of the Project.

ELECTRONIC ART back to top
Founded in 1997 by Amy Stone, the
Museum of Web Art is dedicated to presenting the art of the Web in
its own environment. Ms. Stone states that "the Museum of Web Art was founded
for the simple reason that excellence and innovation in this new, electronic
medium must be made accessible to those who seek it, and displayed in an
environment suited to its content." Very intriguing site!
The Center for Electronic Art's mission is to be an international resource for state-of-the-art media education and production. Functioning like a guild in the Renaissance, CEA marries learning and doing, and along the way provides valuable media services to internationally recognized 'good causes.' The Center's audience consists of those who wish to learn electronic media literacy & technology (students), and organizations from the public service sector who benefit by using the Center's student-assisted media production resources (clients.) The Center's pro bono clients are chosen based on two criteria: do the client's values align with the Center's; do the requested services in some way benefit both the global community and the Center or its students?
